With New York Comic Con just days away from commencing, Size? has revealed a three-way sneaker collaboration dedicated to one Marvel character.
Size? has revealed its exclusive Adidas x “Doctor Strange” capsule, which sees the Handball Spezial, Gazelle Indoor and New York decked out for the Master of the Mystic Arts. All three of the sneakers feature a gold Seal of Vishanti, which represents the god-like beings who protect Earth, on the mustache, as well as gold Marvel and Adidas branding on the tongue. Each sneaker also gets its own custom insole graphic that appear to take on the confusing perspective of the multi-verse.
The Handball Spezial takes on three shades of blue suede to go along with pink leather striping and a black sole. Mint and grey suede then dress the Gazelle Indoor atop a translucent gum sole, while the New York features a mix of canvas, suede and leather in mustard, green and white.
Size? hasn’t yet revealed the significance of the “Doctor Strange” sneaker trio — the sneakers could represent the three films in the trilogy or even the Eternal Ones who form the Vishanti. A release date has yet to be confirmed either, but more details should be on the way soon, especially if the release ends up being tied to New York Comic Con.
Adidas also has a forthcoming “Demon Slayer” collaboration that has so far only been confirmed for a release through Foot Locker. The Rivalry Low is taking on colorways for the anime characters Tengen Uzui and Kyojuro Rengoku, and there’s justifiable speculation that these sneakers, too, will drop at New York Comic Con.
