Lacoste and Highsnobiety have collaborated on a limited-edition sneaker and apparel collection inspired by laidback French luxury and tennis.
Revealed on Tuesday, the new collaboration takes inspiration from Lacoste’s founder René Lacoste’s tennis roots. The line includes unisex apparel like T-shirts, hoodies, a cap and a pair of joggers. The subtle elevated detailing of the collection, like the embroidered logos and terry lining, add a touch of effortless French luxury.
Inspired by the shades of tennis, white, cream, pale yellow and green make up the colorway for the entire collection. The apparel brand wanted to use its iconic polo as a reference when designing the collection, especially the sneakers.
The new L003 2K24 sneaker, included in the collection, features an eggshell multi-paneled upper composed of nylon, leather and mesh. The silhouette includes pops of color coming from the light yellow tongue, laces and angled sole, which is interrupted by a green panel starting at the middle of the shoe and connecting in the back. The low-top set is completed with a co-branded logo and anti-slip spikes on the rubber outsole to create traction for running. The limited-edition sneakers retail for $240.

This collaboration comes a couple of months after Lacoste’s 90th anniversary. The French fashion brand celebrated with a rooftop party during New York Fashion Week this past September with a star-studded guest list, including Irina Shayk, Brandon Flynn and Venus Williams, who starred in the brand’s campaign last March, after announcing her new role as Lacoste’s global ambassador.
Although this is the company’s first collaboration with Highsnobiety, Lacoste has worked with other notable brands like Thrasher, National Geographic and Supreme.
The limited-edition L003 2k24 Highsnobiety sneaker and apparel collection is now available on Highsnobiety’s website.
