Korn and Adidas are coming back together for their third collection, this time looking back to the nu metal band’s 1994 self-titled debut album as source material.

The Korn x Adidas Superstar adds a new model to their partnership, following special-editions of the Campus 00s, Campus 2 and Supermodified releasing through two drops over the last year. The black and white sneaker is similar to that worn by Jonathan Davis in the “Blind” music video, and his black and red tracksuit from the visual is also being recreated for the accompanying apparel.

Black leather forms the Superstar’s upper, which then features white for the mismatched, dual-branded mustaches, as well as the signature Shell-Toes. The lateral striping is also mismatched, with the left shoe featuring “Est. 1994” in a red gothic front that matches the inner tongue and the right an alternating repeat of the two parties’ logos. Gold “Superstar” debossing has also been redone with Korn’s font, while the insole features the artwork from the “Korn” album cover. Fat laces are swapped in, and once again a Korn guitar pick comes affixed via chain.

The remaining apparel includes an album cover T-shirt, additional tracksuit making use of purple plaid, flannel shirt, hoodie and tote bag.

As the nod to Korn’s debut album helps demonstrate, the band has long had an affinity the German brand. Although Korn released a song titled “A.D.I.D.A.S.,” a formal relationship never came to pass until last year. For a time, Korn even had a deal with Adidas rival Puma.

The Korn x Adidas Superstar and accompanying apparel will release sometime in October through the Adidas Confirmed app and select third-party retailers. Pricing for the sneakers is set at $140.
