With summer fast approaching, Nike is adding to its selection of Kobe Bryant footwear by introducing new slides bearing the NBA legend’s signature logo.
Using the brand’s Offcourt Slide as its canvas, Bryant’s version of the slip-on shoe includes his sheath logo atop its support strap. A snakeskin pattern also appears across the strap of Bryant’s pairs.
The Offcourt model includes classic basketball references including an outsole with an Air Force 1 pivot circle-inspired design. From a comfort standpoint, the Offcourt slide features dual-density foam underfoot while the strap uses a soft material. And at the bottom, its circular traction pattern adds grip in case you need to wear the slides for more than lounging around.
The Nike Offcourt slide is offered in a number of styles including officially licensed NCAA, NFL, Major League Baseball and soccer team colorways. The Bryant-branded iterations of the Offcourt slide have been quick to sell out, but there are more on the way.
In related Nike Kobe news, several new sneakers have been teased recently. Earlier this month, Vanessa Bryant shared several previously unseen styles including “Mambacita” Kobe 9 EM Protros, “CHBL” Kobe 4 Protros and a new Kobe-themed Air Force 1 Low. Nike is also expected to release a new Kobe 6 Protro in a WNBA-inspired “Total Orange” colorway soon.
Nike’s SNKRS platform sold out of the “Triple White” colorway quickly, but a yellow “Lightning” look is available now from retailers including Snipes for $42. And in May, the slides are expected to be released in a Los Angeles Dodgers-appropriate royal blue.
