Joe Biden’s Sneaker Style: Viral Hoka Transport Shoes, Skechers Slip-Ins and More

Donald Trump made headlines in February by announcing his brand new sneaker line at Sneaker Con. Now, it’s Joe Biden who is trending in the footwear arena.
On March 13, while departing from the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, D.C., the U.S. president was photographed wearing a pair of black Hoka‘s Transport shoes. The sneaker choice, paired with a navy suit, went viral on social media.
The Transport features a symmetrical cushioned bed that provides extra stability. Priced at $175, the style is recommended for hiking and walking in the city.

Since Biden’s appearance with the sneaker, Google searches for “Hoka Transport” and “Joe Biden shoes” have peaked. On social media, discussions around Biden’s footwear game have also gone viral. However, this wasn’t the first time the president caught the public’s attention for wearing a pair of sneakers.
Last summer, Biden put his sneaker collection to play. First, he slipped into a pair of Skechers to board Marine One before traveling to Europe on July 9.
The style chosen by the president was the Skechers Slip-ins: Ultra Flex 3.0 – Right Away in black. Priced at $90, the shoe is known for its easy step-into system. It features a knit upper with a cushioned Skechers air-cooled memory foam insole and heel pillow.
While spending time in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, Biden was seen biking with his wife, first lady Jill Biden, in a pair of On Cloudflow 4 sneakers.
The On Cloudflow shoes retail for $159.99. They feature a lightweight woven upper for next-gen speed and breathability and ultra-responsive cushioning with Helion superfoam.
Biden finished his summer vacation in Delaware repeating a shoe style, but switching up the color. The president wore the Skechers Slip-ins: Ultra Flex 3.0 silhouette in navy blue.
With summer 2024 approaching, Biden, who has clinched a second straight Democratic nomination, will likely add more sneakers to his collection.
