NBA veteran and Houston Rockets forward Jeff Green may have seen his team lose Wednesday night, but he just might have won the title for best on-court sneakers so far in the NBA season.

Green debuted a chrome Air Jordan 11 player-exclusive in a matchup against the Denver Nuggets, the team for which he played the previous two seasons. The game marked his third against his former team already this season but his first return to Denver, where he clenched his first NBA Finals earlier this year, making it a fitting occasion for an ultra-rare pair of Js.

Unlike the Air Jordan 11‘s typical construction featuring patent leather for the lower half of the upper, Green’s player-exclusive uses the material in chrome for the almost the entire upper. A black Jumpman logo sits atop the highly reflective upper, while the mustache blending into the collar is rendered in white leather. Rounding out the shoe are a white midsole and laces, the latter featuring chrome lace tips, and a translucent grey outsole.

Given that the chrome AJ11’s are a player-exclusive, the chances of the public getting a pair are practically zero. It’s very well possible that no one else in the NBA will get the sneakers either, although the one player you could never count out is PJ Tucker.

Aside from Wednesday night’s game, Green has favored the Air Jordan 38 throughout this season. As a 15-year NBA vet and the 7th oldest active player in the league, he’s been a longtime wearer of Jordan Brand sneakers.
