Fragment Design Reveals a Collaboration on Devin Booker’s Nike Sneaker
With the Fragment Design x Nike Zoom Spiridon expected to release in a matter of days and a new Fragment x Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low rumored for later 2025, founder Hiroshi Fujiwara is fanning the flames of excitement by teasing yet another collaboration.
Fujiwara took to Instagram early Friday morning to reveal a Fragment Design x Nike Book 1, which now marks the first confirmed collaboration for Devin Booker’s signature sneaker. The collaborative sneaker is similar to the “Pyton” variant released in September and gifted directly from Booker to Fujiwara around the same time, but a new leather Swoosh has been added in the label’s signature shade of blue.
The heel counter also appears in black with Fragment’s logo debossed, while another hit of blue comes through the rear two-thirds of the outsole. Rounding out the flourishes, at least those that can be seen, is small text calling out the parties involved in the collaboration in a print on the midsole.
Booker himself also posted a photo to his Instagram story of Fujiwara wearing the sneaker.
Fragment has been collaborating with Nike since 2010, often employing the same shade of blue. Its 2013 take on the SB Janoski was the first-ever collaboration for Steve Janoski’s beloved skate shoe, while its Air Jordan 1 from the next year remains highly sought after. 2021 saw Fragment collaborate with Travis Scott on both the Air Jordan 1 High and Air Jordan 1 Low, and the forthcoming return to the latter silhouette should be one of the most anticipated sneaker releases of 2025.
No release information has been revealed for the Fragment Design x Nike Book 1, but more details should be on the way soon. Footwear News will keep you abreast of any updates.
