With Detroit serving as the host of the 2024 NFL Draft, it’s only right that the league tapped the city’s biggest star to kick things off: Eminem.
Before the first pick was made, the rap megastar met NFL commissioner Roger Goodell on stage to address the fans in attendance. On stage, the “Lose Yourself” rapper — who is a known fan of Nikes and Air Jordans — had a fresh pair of Js laced up.
Eminem wore a crisp pair of the Air Jordan 3 “White Cement Reimagined,” which released in March 2023 and retailed for $210. The sneakers feature white leather uppers with gray elephant print panels and hits of black throughout. The uppers sit atop sail midsoles and gray outsoles.
Although the sneakers are no longer available at retail, they can be purchased on the secondary market. On StockX, for instance, pairs are available for as low as $161 for a men’s size 18 and climb to $339 for a men’s size 11.5.
He also repped his hometown team, the Detroit Lions, via a black team hoodie and a light gray hat. His look was completed with a pair of dark gray joggers.
The Chicago Bears had the No. 1 pick in the draft and selected USC quarterback Caleb Williams.
The 2024 NFL Draft will take place April 25-27, and coverage will be provided by NFL Network, ABC, ESPN and ESPN Deportes.
