After delivering two Air Max 1s and three “What the Duck” Dunk Lows in 2024, Nike and the University of Oregon’s Ducks of a Feather brand are teaming up yet again for Air Max Day 2025.

Timed to launch for Nike’s annual Air Max celebration in the month of March is a new Oregon Ducks-themed sneaker which combines two of the Beaverton, Ore.-based sportswear brand’s most iconic retro running shoes.

Shared in imagery by @ad__sneaks is a previously unseen Division Street x Nike collaboration fusing the upper of the Air Max 97 with the midsole of the Air Max 95. The mash-up Nike Air Max 95/97 is coated in an iridescent sheen which contains shades of green, gold and yellow and a tinge of purple. Overall, it’s a look reminiscent of UK rapper Skepta’s Air Tuned Max-inspired Air Max 97 Ultra collaboration from 2017, but the upcoming Oregon pair opts for a more green-dominant color.

While Nike has issued numerous Air Max hybrid sneakers throughout the years, this is the first time the upper of the Air Max 97 has been combined with the midsole of the Air Max 95. Perhaps most famously, the Air Max 97 upper was mixed with the midsole of the Air Max 1 in a 2018 collaboration with designer Sean Wotherspoon

Oregon’s Ducks of a Feather is an apparel brand backed by the school’s NIL collective, Division Street. Led by Nike co-founder Phil Knight and other Oregon alumni, Division Street was founded in 2021 with an aim to help student athletes monetize their brands. In 2022, Division Street launched Ducks of a Feather, which has since released sneaker collaborations and apparel with Nike.

Despite the arrival of images, release details for the Division Street x Nike Air Max 95/97 remain uncertain. The pair is expected to coincide with Air Max Day on March 26, but it’s possible the sneakers could arrive on a different day this month. Similarly, retail pricing has not been confirmed, but like previous Division Street x Nikes, it’s likely the collaboration will be released through GOAT. This story will be updated once the release details are officially announced.
