Corteiz’s Next Nike Air Max Collaboration Is Dropping This Weekend in NYC
Corteiz’s next Nike Air Max 95 collaboration first surfaced last fall and was initially expected to release before 2024 came to close. The release date has since been pushed back significantly, but something special is in store this weekend in New York City.
The Corteiz x Nike Air Max 95 “Honey Black” will release in-person this weekend exclusively in New York City. Known for its real-world activations, the London-based streetwear brand has customized a bus for the occasion. Once its location has been revealed, prospective customers will be able to step into the vehicle and purchase a pair on a first come, first serve basis.
“Honey Black” follows a trio of Air Max 95 colorways done up by Corteiz in 2023, each of which had their own in-person release activations across the world. The newish edition continues in much the same fashion, with an all-black color scheme interrupted only by gold Air units and branding on the toe tip, heel and tongue.

Corteiz’s “Pink Beam” Nike Air Max 95 also released in New York City two years ago when GPS coordinates were revealed on a billboard outside Penn Station, leading to a bodega experience downtown. Last year, the brand’s black pony hair Nike Air Huarache dropped in the city at a streetside kiosk with the location saved til the last minute as well.
The Corteiz x Nike Air Max 95 “Honey Black” will release at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 26, in New York City at a location to be announced one hour prior. Pricing is set at $190, and a wider release is expected for April 30.
