Converse‘s De Luxe family is getting bigger.
The footwear brand is introducing the Chuck 70 De Luxe Squared and the Converse De Luxe Square shoes — the latter is a collaboration with Swarovski. Both styles will join the previously released Chuck 70 De Luxe Heel and Chuck 70 De Luxe Wedge styles.
The Converse De Luxe Squared includes signature staples of the brand, such as its All Star patch, a rubber toe cap and a vulcanized pinstripe rubber sole. The upper shines with an assortment of multi-sized crystals.
As its name points out, the new style comes in angular, squared proportions, adding an edgy to the Chuck 70 classic silhouette.
Without the crystals, the Chuck 70 De Luxe Squared will come with a squared All-Star patch and will be available in black and white colorways.
The Converse De Luxe Squared with Swarovski crystals and the Chuck 70 De Lux Squared will debut on Feb. 1 on Converse.com and select global retailers. The De Luxe Wedge and De Luxe Heel are now available on Converse.com.
This is the second collaboration announced by Converse this year. On Jan. 11, the brand unveiled its partnership with Feng Chen Wang, which reworked the Chuck 70 sneaker silhouette into a 2-in-1 Ox cut version.
Meanwhile, Swarovski is no stranger to shoe collaborations. The brand has teamed up with Golden Goose, Aquazzura, Nike, Puma, Phileo and other footwear brands in the past.
