The latest version of Bad Bunny’s Adidas Response CL sneaker has had one of the more unusual rollouts you’ll ever see.
Ahead of his new album, “Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana,” the Response CL “Paso Fino” got its first release exclusively through equestrian and Western stores in the U.S. (including Puerto Rico), Mexico, and Spain. The sneaker was then included among the merch released last week alongside Bad Bunny‘s album — and nearly a full-size run is still available for purchase.
Maintaining the vaquero theme for the album, the “Paso Fino” sneakers features a brown monochrome look with just a few hints of purple. All sizes save for a U.S. men’s 4 are still available to purchase through the official merch store for the album, with the only caveat being that shipping will take “15 to 20 days after purchase.”

Adidas will also host a release for the Response CL “Paso Fino” Oct. 18 through its Confirmed app, which raises the question of which route would lead to the sneakers being in-hand sooner. Our advice: purchase them now while you still can, as it’s a surprise they’ve been sitting for days in the first place.
While it has all the hallmarks of an early-aughts running shoe, the Response CL actually only debuted in 2020. Bad Bunny‘s take on the silhouette saw its first release in 2022 and features retooled paneling made to look like the shoe is dripping. In total, five different colorways for the Bad Bunny x Adidas Response CL have now released.
Whichever route you decide to go for the Bad Bunny x Adidas Response CL “Paso Fino,” the price is set at $160.
