Jordan Brand Cooks Up a Trio of Air Jordan 1s Inspired by Burgers, Fries and Milkshakes
Jordan brand has cooked up a full-family meal for its forthcoming trio of Air Jordan 1s.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid “Cheeseburger” will release alongside a Air Jordan 1 Low “Strawberry Milkshake” and Air Jordan 1 Mid “French Fry” in tribute to the veritable fast food trio. Each sneaker is limited to its own size run, and they’re united by the same receipt graphic on the insole.
Appearing in men’s sizing, the AJ1 Mid “Cheeseburger” is the most complex of the lot. The bulk of its upper is rendered in brown leather and suede, including a lighter brown vamp with sesame seed-shaped perforations embodying the bun atop the meat. Red trim lines each of these panels to represent ketchup and/or tomatoes, and a mustard yellow Swoosh adds a dripping effect that also lends itself to cheese. Rounding out the double-duty ingredient stand-ins is a green collar in waled suede for pickles and/or lettuce.
The women’s AJ1 Low “Strawberry Milkshake” isn’t quite as straightforward as it appears at first glance, as its pink leather underlays contain red speckles like you’d see in a shake made with real fruit. White leather overlays then match wavy laces that bring to mind a whipped cream topping, and a darker pink Swoosh in leather features perforations.

The AJ1 Mid is then used again for the big kids’ “French Fry” theme. Its upper mixes yellow suede with another waled suede in light brown, and the ketchup red Swoosh takes on a reflective finish with jagged outlines.
Late last year, Vandy the Pink‘s well-known love for hamburgers came to life with a Salomon 3 Speedcross collaboration with an exterior running with the same idea as the men’s AJ1 Mid and a french fry graphic insole.
The Air Jordan 1 diner tribute is out now through Nike’s website. The men’s Air Jordan 1 Mid “Cheeseburger” is priced at $135, women’s Air Jordan 1 Low “Strawberry Milkshake” at $125 and big kids’ Air Jordan 1 Mid “French Fry” at $120.
