Eccentricity is the name of the game for Adidas in April, as an eclectic mix of sneakers defines the release calendar for the month ahead.
Those in favor of oddities will have a lot to choose from, be it Bad Bunny’s Ballerina in two new colorways, the new Predator Megaride mashing up two aughts models to appease the trend of soccer footwear or an immensely shaggy trio of sneakers made in collaboration with Brain Dead. A previously unreleased Anthony Edwards sneaker bursting with color will now be released as a low-top, and Atlanta is getting a “404 Day” edition of the Superstar with gold grills for its lace dubrae.

Bad Bunny x Adidas Ballerina

Atlanta’s 404 Day, the city’s annual cultural holiday pegged to its area code, is celebrated through a special edition of the Adidas Superstar with detailings including a gold grill lace dubrae, “ATL” mustache branding and, of course, “404 Day!” gold debossing.

The Adidas Megaride, a 2004 running shoe with pod-like cushioning, is getting a revamp capitalizing on the popularity of soccer (or football) footwear by modeling its upper after the Predator Absolute boot from 2006.
