Rap star Wale has once again teamed up with retailer Villa for a footwear release, but opted to go with a boot this time around, using an iconic style from Timberland. The upcoming holiday season and the exchanging of gifts inspired the second collaboration between the rapper and the retailer.
The Timberland Gift Box 6-inch boot, curated by Wale and exclusive to Villa, will be available on Nov. 24 and retail for $200. The collaboration will also be available in grade school and toddler sizes, retailing for $130 and $85, respectively. The boots will be sold in Villa locations as well as through the retailer’s website.
“It’s amazing to share my passion for fashion with my fans. My partnership with Villa allows me to make an impact on the culture that goes beyond music,” Wale said in a statement.
The boot uses premium nubuck in the tide pool blue color for its upper, features gold eyelets, and is rounded out by its contrasting gum outsole.

The men’s pairs come in special edition, co-branded packaging by Timberland and Villa, which comes with a plush cloth gift bag.
In June, Wale and Villa teamed up with Asics for the Independence Day-themed Bottle Rocket Gel Lyte III, featuring a predominantly black suede-and-leather upper with the brand’s logo providing contrast and blue on the outside of the shoe, red on the inside, white stars directly above the Gel Lyte III branding, and a white with red-and-blue speckle outsole..
