Former University of Oklahoma football standout and short-lived Seattle Seahawks linebacker Brian “The Boz” Bosworth has signed on with performance sole label Vibram as part of its FiveFingers brand ambassador program. But he’s not the only addition to Vibram‘s ambassador lineup.
The brand announced it has partnered with 17 high-profile figures in the worlds of sports, entertainment and more for its 2016-17 program.
“From adventurists to photographers, from powerlifters to authors, the Vibram FiveFingers community of brand ambassadors challenges the norm in sport and in life, and inspires us to continue creating innovative products,” said Chris Melton, director of sales and distribution for Vibram’s Finished Goods, in a statement. “We hope they serve as an inspiration to our customers as much as they do us.”
Aside from Bosworth, a 2015 College Football Hall of Fame inductee, the list of FiveFingers ambassadors also includes his wife, Morgan, a fitness model and dietician, as well as retired soccer player Andy McDermott, ultramarathoner Ivo Benov and freestyle skier Ashley Battersby.
The FiveFingers ambassadors, according to Vibram, will provide feedback on products to the company’s design team, participate in company marketing events, and be a source of inspiration to consumers they meet with in their respective fields.
