Cabela’s To Carry Vibram’s FiveFingers Collection
Vibram is a frequent partner of brands in outdoor and athletic markets looking to incorporate its high-performance soles with their latest and greatest silhouettes. But Vibram’s latest partner is more interested in its FiveFingers footwear collection.
The company has teamed up with outdoor retailer Cabela’s to launch a FiveFingers pilot program.
“Our intention is to introduce the benefits of Vibram FiveFingers to a different category of outdoor consumers,” said Chris Melton, sales and distribution director of Vibram USA’s finished goods category, in a statement. “We’ve designed the perfect assortment for the Cabela’s customer, with a focus on the outdoor, hunting, boating and water sport categories.”
The program will start by stocking 10 of Cabela’s retail outlets with FiveFingers styles, according to Vibram, and featuring more than 15 FiveFingers styles on Cabela’s website.

“Cabela’s is pleased to bring in Vibram FiveFingers as a new offering in our 2016 footwear collection,” said Allan Krygowski, category marketing manager for Cabela’s, in a statement. “Initiating this pilot program with Vibram will allow us to target our customer base regionally with the most appropriate styles from the FiveFingers platform.”
The FiveFingers pilot program will launch at these 10 Cabela’s stores:

Berlin, Mass.
Cheektowaga, N.Y.
Post Falls, Idaho
Tulalip, Wash.
Tualatin, Ore.
