Veja Updates Its Sustainable Condor Performance Running Shoe for the First Time Since 2019

After making its debut in 2019, Veja has updated its sustainable Condor performance running shoe for the first time.

Veja revealed the Condor 2 today, an improved and updated version of its debut post-petroleum running shoe, which features the same eco-friendly materials as its predecessor. The made in Brazil shoe, according to Veja, was created to be versatile and made to be the go-to shoe for long runs, easy runs and recovery sessions.

To keep the shoe durable, as well as for improved grip and a longer lifespan, Veja executed the look with full-length rubber outsoles, which feature up to 32% of its Amazonian rubber. Veja said it opts for Amazonian rubber from the Amazonian rainforest in order to increase the economic value of the forest as well as to help the fight against deforestation.

The shoe’s comfort story is led by the L-Foam cushion, which was added to absorb shock (as well as offer long-term resiliency).
