Reebok and Rich Froning Jr. have a new limited-edition Nano X collaboration on the way, his second this year, and this one is a nod to his Mayhem Nation family.
The latest collaboration with the four-time CrossFit Games winner on the workout-ready shoe is executed with a red, white and blue color palette. The hues are a tribute to the Mayhem Nation family that he has built from his CrossFit Mayhem box in Cookeville, Tenn.
“It was incredible to see the community’s reaction and support around our first Nano X Froning release earlier this year,” Froning Jr. said in a statement. “I’m very excited to be able to deliver another shoe that is not only one that I love to train in, but more importantly celebrates a community that I am so proud to be a part of.”
The shoe is predominantly navy blue, with the hue consuming much of the upper and the front portion of the outsole, which features red mid foot to heel. The midsole is gray with a portion featuring white speckles, and the lacing system features three red, white and blue ropes.
The Froning iteration of the Nano X is built with bootie construction, a forefoot strap to keep the foot locked in and the aforementioned three-string rope lacing system built for added security (and a nod to the athlete’s guiding forces of faith, family and fitness).
The red, white and blue Reebok Nano X Froning arrives Dec. 15 via Reebok.com and select retailers. It will retail for $150.
