Real Madrid is headed to the semifinals of the Champions League thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo‘s comeback hat trick. The forward scored all three goals in the 3-0 victory over Wolfsburg on Tuesday wearing his Nike signature cleats. Real Madrid needed to overturn a first leg 2-0 deficit to Wolfsburg in order to advance.
The Portuguese star scored in the 16th and 17th minutes to level the playing field at 2-2 on aggregate. He then scored the go-ahead goal that sent Real Madrid through in the 77th minute, with a free-kick.
Tuesday’s hat trick was his 37th in seven years at Real Madrid.
During the match, Ronaldo wore Nike’s CR7 Chapter 2: Natural Diamond cleats.

This time around, Chapter 2 focuses on Ronaldo’s move away from home as a child to pursue his dream of becoming a professional footballer. The collection follows Nike’s Chapter 1: Savage Beauty, a series of seven Mercurial Superfly CR7 boots that debuted last October to salute the soccer star’s storied career.
Details include a textured heel to look rocky and rough, representing Ronaldo’s early years away from home. As the boot transitions to the forefoot, it smoothens out in representation of Ronaldo’s journey and development.
