Puma’s Releasing Sneakers Inspired by Walt ‘Clyde’ Frazier’s Extravagant Style
When it comes to sneaker releases, Black Friday is already one of the busiest days of the year, and now Puma‘s sneaking in at the final hour with a head-turning rendition of one of its most iconic shoes.
Just a few months removed from September’s “Wraith” pack release, the Puma Clyde is back with a two-sneaker set known as the “Suits” pack. This group is inspired by basketball great Walt “Clyde” Frazier’s unmistakable fashion sense, specifically his extravagant suits — which are so famous, they even have their own Instagram page.
According to Puma, the “Suits” pack includes colorways covered in zebra and cow-printed leathers as a nod to Frazier’s custom designer suits and fur coats. Along with the spotted and striped patterns, these Puma Clydes also feature a Clyde logo and lace tips in metallic gold.
