Odell Beckham Jr. Wears Nike ‘Peanuts’ Cleats On Sunday

Despite New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.’s incredible one-handed touchdown catch in Sunday’s matchup against the Washington Redskins, the Giants still couldn’t pull off a win.
The Giants lost 20-14, bringing their record to 5-6. But even with the loss, Beckham brought his A-game both on and off the field. When he hit the field for a pre-game warmup, he wasn’t sporting the Giants’ usual red, white and blue cleats. Instead, he rocked a pair of custom Nike “Peanuts” cleats.
One shoe is Snoopy-themed, and the other is Charlie Brown-themed. Both feature croc-embossed straps with a gold buckle. The Snoopy shoe features black-and-white spots, and the Charlie Brown shoe echoes the character’s signature yellow and black zigzag shirt.

It’s unlikely the NFL would allow players to wear these quirky cleats during games after recently declining DeAngelo Williams’ request to wear his breast cancer-awareness cleats year-round.
Beckham recently told Footwear News that he’s a big shoe collector and hopes to one day get his hands on a pair of Nike Air Mags.
