Great Scott: Odell Beckham Jr.’s got a new pair of eye-catching shoes.

The New York Giants wide receiver debuted “Back to the FutureNike cleats Sunday ahead of a match against the Chicago Bears in East Rutherford, N.J.

Taking inspiration from the fantasy film’s second installment, the kicks incorporate branding similar to that seen on the “Mattel Hoover Board.” Other design treatments include a chrome-pattern “DMC” logo around the toebox — a reference to the movie’s time-traveling DeLorean Motor Company car.

Beckham often rocks novelty cleats during pre-game rounds before switching to shoes that meet the NFL’s strict uniform codes — and today was no exception.

When game time arrived, the athlete hit the field in a pair of gray Nikes, lest he be subjected to penalties like the $6,000 fine that Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins was slapped with for playing a game against the Bears in September while wearing Yeezy 350 Boost cleats.

The league’s uniform policy has strict rules regarding the colors of players’ footwear. According to the policy, “Approved shoe styles will contain one team color, which must be the same for all players on a given team. A player may wear an unapproved standard football shoe style as long as the player tapes over the entire shoe to conform to his team’s selected dominant color.”
