One lucky winner of Nike’s 2016 Mag raffle contest has unveiled his hotly anticipated kicks on social media.
Christopher Jones, who won the contest that launched early in October, took to Twitter Thursday to reveal that he received model No. 60 of the 89 pairs offered in the sportswear brand’s drawing.

“I just received my #NikeMAG !!!! These shoes are wicked cool! Thanks @Nike & @MichaelJFoxOrg,” Jones tweeted.
The 2016 iteration of the Nike Mag was inspired by the self-lacing Mag sneaker Michael J. Fox donned in the 1989’s “Back to the Future Part II.”
“That is crazy,” Jones remarks while observing the laces tightening and adjusting to his foot.
Entries for the raffle, which began Oct. 3 and closed Oct. 11 were $10. Winners were notified on Oct. 17, with proceeds benefiting the Michael J. Fox Foundation, which funds Parkinson’s disease research. In total, 84 winners have been notified, and the five remaining pairs produced will be sold by Nike and the Michael J. Fox Foundation through private auctions. In 2011, the sportswear brand auctioned another version of the shoe via eBay.
