After celebrating its 25th-anniversary last year, another colorway of the iconic Nike Air Max 95 is hitting stores soon.
The sportswear giant revealed images of the forthcoming Air Max 95 “Cool Grey” release, a new iteration of the shoe that is set to hit shelves this year. The look is executed with various gray tones covering the entirety of the shoe including a gradient fade going down the leather, suede and mesh panels on the upper. Breaking up the look are white accents appearing in the form of shoelaces, as well as the mini Swoosh branding on the heel. Capping off the design is a white midsole and a gray outsole.
Although images of the latest Nike Air Max 95 “Cool Grey” have surfaced, the release info for the shoe has not yet been confirmed by the brand.
The Nike Air Max 95 was designed by Sergio Lozano in 1995 and his inspiration for the silhouette was the anatomy of the human body. The upper features layered panels that serve as a nod to the muscle fibers and flesh while the eyelets represent the ribs holding the body together. The shoe’s signature design is the spine-inspired midsole, which was the first Nike shoe to feature a visible Air bag at the forefoot and heel.
