Joakim Noah Takes Kids On Shopping Spree To Kids Foot Locker

Joakim Noah doesn’t just give his all to Chicago on the court for the Bulls — he also performs at a superstar level for the Chicago community: The Adidas-sponsored center took local kids on a back-to-school shopping spree Monday.

Noah brought more than 40 kids from his Noah’s Arc Foundation to the Kids Foot Locker location on State Street in Chicago, where the kids picked out Adidas sneakers, shirts and sweatshirts to wear when they head back to school.

The Bulls center is also no stranger to working with Kids Foot Locker. Noah has appeared in Kids Foot Locker ads in the past, including a video series titled “Joakim Noah Says the Joakimiest Things To Kids,” in which the baller spoke with kids in a manner similar to a kids’ comedy show The commercials aired on the Cartoon Network, The Disney Channel and Nickelodeon and featured products from Adidas, including the ZX Flux shoes.

“It was really fun getting to film these commercials and show off my personality,” Noah said in a statement in April. “It was a thrill for me to work with Kids Foot Locker on these spots, to put a contemporary spin on a show that was popular when I was a kid.”
