Duolingo and Crocs are Teaming Up for a Limited-Edition Collaboration
Duolingo, the popular learning app is embarking on a new chapter through an exclusive limited-edition Crocs collaboration.
The Crocs, which are a part of the company’s first-ever pop-up event, center around bringing the community together, as the event will feature a number of limited-edition merchandise that includes a range of plushies, T-shirts, backpacks and more. The focal point of this event are, of course, the Duolingo-themed Crocs, which are characterized by their fun green color and character designs.
The Crocs stay true to the classic features of the brand with their croslite closed-cell resin material crafting, and are accompanied by the design of Duo Lingo’s mascot Duo. The Crocs also come with a number of jibbitz that represent the learning platform. Scheduled to take place between Aug. 23 and 25 in New York City, the Duolingo Streak Society Pop-Up not only features merchandise, but also gives fans of both brands a fun experience through challenging games where they can win special prizes, and have photo opportunities with Duo the mascot.

To gain admission, however, fans must participate in a Duolingo lesson, which the brand deems as a “playful nod to their mission of making learning fun and a great way to engage fans IRL.”
This latest Duolingo x Crocs partnership is the latest in a year that has seen many collaborations from the footwear brand. One of the latest is their Batmobile-Inspired collab, which follows other notable team ups such as their collections with Naruto, Minions and Lightning Mcqueen. The Batmobile collaboration, which was released last week, takes on classic features of 1989 film through its sleek styling, glossy bat wing spoiler on the lateral side and various car parts referenced throughout the midsole. There is also the incorporation of Batman and Batmobile-branded Jibbitz charms that is also included within the silhouette.
The Duolingo Streak Society Pop-Up will take place later on this week in NYC. As for who can’t make the event in-person, fans can pre-order the limited-edition Duolingo Crocs online.
