It’s no secret that NFL players like to have fun with their custom cleats on game day. Stars including Antonio Brown, Odell Beckham Jr., Von Miller and Mohamed Sanu have all debuted can’t-miss footwear on the gridiron this season. Now, thanks to a series of hilarious video exchanges between Dallas Cowboys rookies Ezekiel Elliott and Dak Prescott, we’re catching a glimpse of what the pros are wearing behind the scenes, too.
When they’re not busy leading the Cowboys to an NFC-best 6-1 record, Elliott and Prescott have been killing time by roasting each other’s sneakers in the locker room. The first jab came from Elliott, who lambasted Prescott’s Adidas Supernova Glide sneakers.

The Twitter clip, which has more than 3,200 retweets as of 10:45 a.m. ET today, was only the beginning. From there, the roasting intensified, and Elliott’s follow-up video has amassed more than 5,500 retweets.

Prescott refused to take the insults lying down, and he quickly fired back with some responses of his own (click here for the video).
The back-and-forth appeared to subside Monday, when Elliott posted a clip complimenting Prescott on his Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Beluga.”
