Crocs and Barbour are honing in on their shared love of the outdoors with a limited-edition collaborative collection, set for release on Thursday, featuring two footwear styles showcasing the British brand’s signature colors and tartan print.
Alongside a waxed jacket, the collaboration includes a Classic Clog and a Wellington Boot. The tartan print clog showcases Barbour’s wax coated cotton trim with the belt detail that’s included in Barbour jackets. The clog also features a co-branded label and metal rivets.
The boot, meanwhile, is a short style ideal for wet weather. Also featuring the tartan design, another element of the boot is a PVC logo patch. Both clog and boot can be decorated with Jibbitz — nine charms were created for the collaboration, drawing inspiration from archival Barbour patches and pins as well as the collaboration’s dual branding.
Ian Bergin, director of Barbour menswear, said, “With practicality and a love of the great outdoors at the heart of both brands, this playful new collaboration is a fun way to celebrate that shared foundation.”
“This collaboration effortlessly blends two iconic brands, marrying our passion for self-expression with Barbour’s rich heritage,” said Matias Infante, vice president of global marketing at Crocs. “By reimagining the timeless classics both brands are known for, we’ve created something entirely new that can be fully personalized.”
For those interested in more than footwear, the collection also includes an Oversized Bedale Wax Jacket.
Barbour recently teamed up with Spanish brand Wildbunch Styles to launch a collaborative collection showcasing men’s footwear. Crocs, meanwhile, counts Juicy Couture and Haribo among its most recent collaborators.
