Adidas-sponsored Andrew Wiggins is emerging as one of the brightest stars in the NBA, and is also becoming a go-to presence in the endorsement game. The baller is the star of the latest ad from Kids Foot Locker, titled “Little Pro,” which debuts today.
Wiggins was approached in a movie theater by a young fan dressed in Adidas Originals clothing during the 30-second clip, and boosted the fan’s confidence after complimenting his clothing, which he picked up at Kids Foot Locker. After receiving the compliment, the fan called his mom and stated since Wiggins said he looks like a pro that he no longer should have a curfew in a cocky manner. The fan’s mom asked to speak with Wiggins, gave him a good talking-to, and Wiggins apologized repeatedly.

“This commercial especially made me remember what it was like being a kid, looking up to the pros and wanting to dress and be like them. It’s cool to have kids look up to me the way I used to look up to my idols,” Wiggins said in a statement.
The commercial, created by the agency BBDO, debuted both online and on TV today.
“Through his great sense of humor, Wiggins really brought to life the playful nature of the Kids Foot Locker brand, showcasing our a great selection of Adidas Originals gear that will have all of our consumers looking like pros,” said Stacy Cunningham, EVP of marketing for Foot Locker, in a statement.
