The Air Jordan 12 is one of the most beloved signature shoes for arguably the greatest basketball player in NBA history, Michael Jordan. The next retro iteration to drop boasts a color scheme that evokes his time spent with the Chicago Bulls on the Chicago Stadium and United Center courts.
The Air Jordan 12 Retro “Alternate” — also dubbed “Gym Red/White” — hits stores on Saturday and will retail for $190. The shoe will be available via SNKRS starting at 10 a.m. ET.
The shoe features a predominantly gym red upper with a white forefoot panel, with black on the collar and heel tab. The “Alternate” is completed with a white midsole and outsole. As with the original, the shoe features the Jumpman branding on the top of the tongue and the outsole that peeks out onto the front of the shoe, and “TWO3” written vertically down the tongue.
The Air Jordan 12 has been the silhouette of choice as of late for Jordan Brand to retro. On May 28, the label released the latest release — “Wolf Grey” — on June 25.
