Adidas Ultra Boost fans may soon have another bold colorway to pick up.
Instagram user @kaiweikaiwei has unveiled images of the critically acclaimed shoe in a red colorway, with black providing contrast. The shoe features a predominantly red Primeknit upper with black woven into the material, mostly visible on the forefoot and the collar. Although the three-stripe cage is solid red, the upper also boasts a black overlay on the heel. The shoe is completed with a red Boost midsole and black Continental Rubber outsole.
Although the images surfaced on social media, there is no official word from Adidas when — or if — these shoes will see retail shelves. But for fans of the shoe who just want a pair regardless of the colorway, they could be picked up on adidas.com and Adidas retailers for $180.
If red is desired, Adidas released its Uncaged iteration of the shoe with the hue on the upper and midsole in July, which also retailed for $180.
