When it comes to iconic Adidas sneakers, the Stan Smith is undoubtedly one of the brand’s defining models. Over the course of its nearly 50-year history, the classic tennis shoe has seen a handful of modifications, sequels and collaborations — and now it looks like Adidas has plans to give it an update with Boost.
A pair of unreleased Adidas Stan Smith Boost sneakers is listed on the online streetwear marketplace Grailed. The black, leather-based sample features green accents and a full-length white Boost midsole in place of its traditional rubber tooling.
“These are supposedly going to drop in Fall/Winter 2017, so this is a super early sample straight from an Adidas worker. 100% authentic. You won’t find another pair of these ANYWHERE,” the listing states.
The sample Adidas Stan Smith Boosts were posted to the site on Sept. 17 and have an asking price of $450. As of Sept. 22, they are still available.
