The original colorway of the Adidas NMD is making a comeback with a slight twist.
The Primeknit-based version of the popular sneaker is set to return with red and blue accents reminiscent of the colored EVA inserts seen on the debut style from December.
However, instead of filling in the supportive EVA midsole inserts, the red and blue shades on the new makeups have been transferred to the Three Stripes branding seen at the shoe’s lateral and medial sides.
Offered in both black- and white-based Primeknit colorways, these styles use the “glitch camo” pattern seen on previous limited-edition NMDs. The black pair is accented with red, white, and blue stripes, while the white colorway uses red, black, and blue.

Each pair in this group also features a striped ankle collar, full-length Boost cushioning and matching EVA midsole inserts.
The official images of these new NMDs have been uploaded to the Adidas website, and that often indicates a launch is imminent. Both pairs pictured here are expected to drop this fall/winter.
