John Wall had a breakout 2014-15 season for the Washington Wizards while wearing his first Adidas signature shoe, the J Wall 1. With the 2015-16 season approaching, the brand is set to have its star athlete in a new signature shoe, the J Wall 2.
“We wanted to create a shoe that helps my game and represents my style,” Wall said in a statement. “The shoe really shows what I love about fashion, with loud colors and bold designs. Every part of the shoe is made to help how I play the game, but it’s also made for fans who want to stand out on the court and represent with style off it.”
The first edition of the J Wall 2, the home colorway, will hit stores Oct. 31, with the second edition, the road colorway, hitting stores Nov. 6. The shoes will have a retail price of $115.
The home colorway of the two-time all-star’s second signature shoe will feature a predominantly white upper with a gray camo pattern near the heel and on the toe box. The upper also features red highlights near the heel and in John Wall branding near the midfoot. The outsole is white with a gray speckled pattern.
The away colorway features a predominantly navy blue and white upper with red accents. The outsole is white with navy blue appearing towards the heel.
The shoe boasts the brand’s Quickframe upper with full length Adiprene+ cushioning, with deep flex groove along the center of the traction pattern.
