Adidas Gives D Rose 6 and D Lillard 1 The Iridescent Treatment

The Adidas D Rose 6 and D Lillard 1 sneakers are both getting updated with reflective details for the “Iridescent” pack. Both silhouettes are done in an all-black mesh upper and have finishes that shift color when light hits it.
This is the newest update of Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose and Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard’s respective signature sneakers.
Adidas says the pack is “inspired by animals of prey that hunt in the dead of night” and that the reflective accents mimic the “reflective and iridescent nature of a predator’s eyes in attack mode.”
Each shoe has elements that reflect the strengths of the its namesake player. The D Rose features reflective lines and logo to represent his ability to “take flight” over defenders, and the Nocturnal style features a falcon graphic.

For the D Lillard Nocturnal style, there’s a cheetah graphic to represent Lillard’s “swift handles and explosive quickness.”
The D Rose 6 retails for $140 and the D Lillard 1 for $105 at Adidas.com, Foot Locker and Eastbay beginning on Nov. 27.
