Preparing for the Major League Baseball postseason is Adidas with a cleat pack that is equal parts stylish and functional.
Adidas is the self-proclaimed leader and pioneer in “cleathead culture,” its name for stylish performance cleats, and its next wave of footwear built for the diamond is the Celebration Pack. The collection features a pair of the brand’s latest and greatest baseball spikes: the 2017 Adizero Afterburner 3 and the 2017 Energy Boost Icon 2.
The Celebration Pack, according to Adidas, commemorates the MLB teams that will be advancing to postseason play, is inspired by locker room celebrations and evokes the spirit of winning. It will debut on Oct. 3 in five colorways: green, red, royal blue, black and white.

To tell the championship-winning story, the brand incorporated hits of cork throughout the cleats inspired by champagne bottles, as well as embroidered lace jewels and metallic gold plates to signify the path a team takes to make it to — and through — the playoffs.
The 2017 Adizero Afterburner 3 in the collection boasts a textured droplet anodized upper to give it a wet appearance (like it were drenched in champagne during a locker room celebration), a tongue infused with cork, and a red lace jewel on each cleat.
The 2017 Energy Boost Icon 2 features a molded heel clip with a metallic bubble treatment and pull-tabs infused with cork.
