We last showed what a collaboration between A Bathing Ape and Jordan Brand might look like, and now we’re getting a better idea of how the Japanese streetwear label’s camouflage motif would look on the mighty Adidas Yeezy Boost 350.
Thanks to sneaker artist El Cappy and photography by Burn Rubber owner Rick Williams, we’re able to present a pair of “Moonrock” Adidas Yeezy Boost 350s with the A Bathing Ape (aka Bape) camouflage treatment.
The Adidas Primeknit-based sneakers have been hand-painted with intricate Bape graphics across the upper. The streetwear brand’s signature pattern is represented with black, white and gray shades — a fitting palette for the “Moonrock” Yeezy Boost 350s.
This particular custom pair was commissioned by sneaker fan @iamfrankieg. However, El Cappy has indicated that he’s open to creating similar customs. To inquire about a custom project, El Cappy can be contacted directly at elcappycustoms@gmail.com.
Although this Bape x Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 custom isn’t an official release, there is a Bape x Adidas NMD collaboration rumored to release on Nov. 26 for $150.
