Thursday Boot Co. is living up to its name. Beginning today, and on most Thursdays through December, the brand will release a new style from its new limited-edition Black Label Collection.
Each boot is hand numbered and comes with a corresponding certificate of authenticity signed by company CEO Nolan Walsh. The debut style, the Vanguard, is a rendition of the classic American service boot of the ’40s. The boot is made of leather produced by Horween, one of the few U.S.-based tanneries.
One hundred Vanguard boots will be created in each of three color ways: color #8 chromexcel, Rio Latigo and aniline olive chromexcel. The collection is available online at ThursdayBoots.com as well through Trunk Club in New York and Stuff Fine Goods in Dusseldorf, Germany.
As the brand marks its first anniversary this month, it’s also bowed a pop-up shop in its downtown New York offices where it opens its doors to the public on the weekends. In tandem, it is also opening a pop-up shop at Union Market in Washington, D.C.
According to Walsh, while the Vanguard retails at a premium price point of $425, there are styles available in the current collection at $149 such as the Scout, a chukka style.
