Kith’s much-anticipated team up with Giorgio Armani is here and it includes three footwear styles.
According to the Italian luxury brand, the collaboration will include a chukka boot, hiker boot, and loafer to compliment the extensive range of men’s suits and apparel.
The chukka boot has a smooth suede upper and features a collaborative Kith & Giorgio Armani logo on the heel tab and footbed. The hiker boot is a completely new silhouette. It is crafted from premium Italian leather and showcases debossed Kith & Giorgio Armani branding throughout. Lastly is the Kith & Giorgio Armani loafer, an all-leather style that features a distinct Armani braided logo and a debossed Kith logo below.
The shoes are part of the duo’s new collaboration called “The Archetype” for fall/winter 2024 season. The collaboration is split up into four archetypes, which served as the inspiration for the design of the products—the Artist, Entertainer, Traveler, and Entrepreneur. Each archetype has its own capsule within the collection, which includes suits, outerwear, apparel and accessories.

“As I began ideating on the story to tell, I knew I wanted to pay homage and respect to Mr. Armani’s career and life by representing the men who I feel he has inspired the most,” Ronnie Fieg, founder, chief executive officer and creative director of Kith, said in a statement. “There are so many people around the world from different walks of life who have been influenced by Mr. Armani, and who share the universal language of wearing a Giorgio Armani suit. This is how we came up with the concept of The Archetypes.”
To launch the collection, Giorgio Armani and Kith will host a special pop-up experience at townhouse on the Upper East Side to coincide with New York Fashion Week. Together they have fully redesigned the space, where visitors will explore rooms inspired by the four archetypes, as well as shop the collection ahead of its official launch date. The pop-up is open to the public Sept. 6- Sept. 7 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and is located at 170 East 80th Street in Manhattan.
The next launch will coincide with the London Fashion Week where the collection will release ahead of the global launch at Giorgio Armani’s Sloane Street store on Thursday, Sept. 12.
The day after, Friday, Sept. 13, the collection will be available at select Giorgio Armani and Kith stores in the U.S. and Canada, along with a web launch at 11 a.m. on Armani.com as well as Kith.com and the Kith App.
To celebrate Milan Fashion Week, the Giorgio Armani Milan store will then host another pop-up on Wednesday, Sept. 18, located at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, 3.
The final launch will occur on September 20, at select Kith and Giorgio Armani stores in Europe, Japan, and Korea, along with a web launch. Lastly, the collection will be launched in the Chinese market with a last, special pop-up in Shanghai opening on Sept. 28.
This comes after Kith and Fieg have been teasing the collaboration on social media for weeks. The first hint was seen last week when the retailer unveiled that famed director Martin Scorsese would be the face of its campaign to highlight the “artist” archetype. Actor and musician LaKeith Stanfield will be the face of the “entertainer” archetype, while Hollywood leading man Pierce Brosnan will front the “traveler” archetype and Feig will be the face of the “entrepreneur” archetype.
