There is a lot to digest from this month’s fall/winter 2025 men’s fashion shows in Paris.

From Rick Owens’ persistent willingness to push the boundaries of footwear design to Comme des Garçons’ interesting use of proportions and details, there were plenty of attention-grabbing shoes in Paris this season.

Some eye-catching styles came in the form of an otherworldly molded shell, while others played with unexpected elements and accents. Here, a look at the craziest (in a good way) and most talked-about men’s shoes from the fall ’25 collections in Paris this month.

Charles Jeffrey Loverboy

Scottish designer Charles Jeffrey is back with his latest punk meets experimental collection. Jeffrey’s signature claw shoe series, which first made an appearance in autumn/winter 2019 in conjunction with British footwear maker Roker, returns this season in the form of chunky Wellington boots. Building off of the banana-inspired silhouette seen last fall, Jeffrey updates the boot in an all-black version with silver grommets and a white interior.

Comme des Garçons

Comme des Garçons Homme Plus collection debuted an army boot with the toe box upturned at a 90-degree angle. Rei Kawakubo said it was her saying “To hell with war” – with the boot seemingly sending a message that war is a dead end.

Feng Chen Wang x Ugg

Chinese designer Feng Chen Wang accessorized her latest collab with Ugg, two styles of Tasman Lug boots with crack effect coating and 3D-printed shells. The intricate and dramatic silhouette was inspired by mythical creatures depicted in “Classic of Mountains and Seas,” an ancient collection of epic tales.

Rick Owens

For fall 2025, Rick Owens delivered a set of oversized boots that recall the feet of feathered roosters. Done in collaboration with Parisian designer Victor Clavelly, the boots are made with heavyweight Groppone cow leather. Pieces of the leather are laser cut and woven together by hand to create a chain-linked effect.

Sacai x Ugg

Sacai designer Chitose Abe delved into Maurice Sendak’s children’s classic “Where the Wild Things Are” for her latest collection. “We wanted to take our friends to the wild side, and walk there together,” said Abe, referring to her collaborators at Carhartt, Ugg and J.M. Weston. This was especially seen in her collaboration with Ugg, where shearling spilled over the front of a pair of knee-high boots while the back of the shoe is exposed – where you can see the platform sole and several belted closures.
