Rihanna is a queen of modern street style. While off-duty looks have become big business for some celebrities, often stepping out in head-to-toe runway looks, the “Anti” star has maintained her own sense of personal style. She pieces together ensembles from across different brands, different decades and moods to tailor it to her tastes. From the furry 1990s Oscar de la Renta hat all the way down to whatever footwear she decides on, it’s all a part of the final effect.

For Rihanna, no shoe is too bold or heel too high. The “Work” singer and beauty mogul’s shoe style is as chameleonic and daring as the rest of her fashion sense, ranging from sky-high heels to chunky Puma sneakers. That versatility is is all encapsulated in her street style which can range from pointed-toe pumps from Amina Muaddi — a label she often wears and gets custom designs from —  to sneakers of her own design through her Fenty x Puma line.

It’s important to note that the “Diamonds” songstress has long been recognize for her impact in the footwear space. She served as the creative director of Stance Socks for years in addition to inking an eagerly anticipated deal with Manolo Blahnik. That collaboration sold out when it was released. This was all in addition to the “Rated R” musician’s partnership with Puma. The most successful style of that linkup was the Creeper which caused platform sneakers to trend.
