Loafers became a go-to shoe for all walks of stars — as well as a wide range of styles — in 2023.
Throughout the year, classic penny and slip-on loafers earned their place in the fashion industry, emerging in silhouettes, hues and heights to suit any individual’s fashion tastes. Monochrome, studded and two-toned styles emerged on stars like Andrew Garfield, Kristen Stewart and Blake Lively, while others — like Glen Powell, Andrew Scott and Emma Roberts — embraced classic leather sets in brown and black tones. Still, pairs with revamped details like platform soles, heels and more were embraced by Mia Goth, Lykke Li and other celebrities, proving the shoe’s power to evolve with the times.
