Throughout 2023, Gen Z rose as a fashion force around the globe.
Whether in Fashion Week front rows or on numerous red carpets for the CFDA Awards, the young generation showed adeptness at both setting and navigating trends. Stars including Zendaya, Jenna Ortega, Sydney Sweeney, Timothée Chalamet and more embraced movements from “quiet luxury” to “balletcore” with aplomb, complete with sharp pumps, platforms and sleek boots to match.
Across TikTok and Instagram, social media also introduced emerging stars on the scene — including Davis Burleson, Emely Moreno, Ryan Potter and Kate Bartlett — that translated trends to a widespread audience online.
