From hippies to high fashion, summer’s favorite has been a fashionable trend for decades. Brands like Havaianas, Reef, Teva elevating the staple for more than just lounging at the beach. Fashion’s closet favorite also made its way to the runway in designer collections from America to Europe since the 1980s, made its way back to the runway for Chanel’s Spring 2024 collection.
