Blake Lively has become something of a fixture at the annual Met Gala, often wowing her fellow guests and those watching at home with a dramatic gown by a high fashion designer — and eye-catching shoes.
The actress last attended in 2022, when she served as a co-chair alongside husband Ryan Reynolds for the event themed “In America: An Anthology of Fashion.” She dressed for the theme in a Versace gown which paid homage to the Statue of Liberty. For those looking closely, she was wearing a pair of Christian Louboutin heels with a platform to accent the copper and green dress.
Lively also wore a Versace and Christian Louboutin combo in 2018, modeling an ornate red gown and bejeweled platform heels for the theme “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.” Lively and Louboutin could be seen posing together at the 2018 iteration of the star-studded party. She is a longtime fan of his designs, having also donned a pair of beige sandals for the 2011 Met Gala themed “Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty,” to go with a Chanel gown.
