Several esteemed designers have come together to create custom pointe shoes for the Youth America Grand Prix, the world’s largest ballet scholarship organization. These designers include Alice+Olivia, Carolina Herrera, The Row, LoveShackFancy, Dennis Basso, Michael Kors, Brian Atwood, Dylan Lauren, Vanessa Noel, Aquazurra, Khaite, Giuseppe Zanotti, Cynthia Rowley and Herve Leger.
In support of Youth America Grand Prix’s 25th-anniversary Gala, YAGP’s Pointe Project gives designers a blank canvas in the form of a pointe shoe. The slippers will be auctioned, showcasing the creativity of fashion houses through paintings, decorations, and embellishments. The gala will be held at Lincoln Center on April 18, showcasing the artistic talents of fashion designers and supporting YAGP’s mission. See photos below.Â
