Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck, Yara Shahidi, Rosé, Jodie Turner-Smith and other stars stepped out on Saturday night in Gucci looks to pose on the 2023 LACMA Art + Film Gala red carpet in front of the iconic Urban Lights art installation and celebrate gala honorees David Fincher and Judy Baca. Pointy-toe shoes—very on trend at the moment—were a plenty, but strappy heeled sandals proved to be a favorite at the event, many of them from Gucci.

Actors Jodie Turner-Smith, Kirsten Dunst and Samara Weaving wore head-to-toe Gucci for very different, glam looks completed with the same strappy sandal heels featuring crisscross ankle straps and approximately four-inch heels. Dunst paired her silver pair a white mini slip dress with silver detailing, while Weaving wore a black gown with high side slits.

Turner-Smith opted for strappy black patent heels paired with a long black skirt with a high slit and a silver crystal square-neck bra top and silver and diamond bangle bracelets.

Jennifer Lopez offered a modern, unique take on the strappy heeled sandal with nude six-inch heels from Andrea Wazen featuring a pointed, platform open toe with clear detailing at the toes and a double strap around the ankle. She paired her heels with a Gucci dress featuring a rose gold bra top and sheer nude lace skirt with a high waist and high slit and glittering flowers embroidered on it and blingy Gucci jewelry.

Actor Jodie Comer wore simple, classic black strappy heeled sandals to pair with a sequin-encrusted red skirt, while model Ilona Guzarevich opted for bedazzled straps on her sky-high heels, which she paired with a glittering sequin evening gown. Lux Pascal, who attended the gala with her brother Pedro Pascal, wore red strappy heeled sandals with a red lace gown (and a red lip and nails, of course).

Actor Daisy Edgar-Jones wore Gucci’s black patent “Women’s Strappy Sandal” which feature four-and-a-half-inch stiletto heels and three crisscrossed straps by the toes. She paired the classic stilettos with a black velvet and lace spaghetti-strap gown from the Italian designer. Although Eva Longoria’s long, white silky gown covered her shoes, when she sat down she revealed classic silver heeled sandals with single slim straps at the toe and ankle.
