It’s that point in the shopping season where an e-commerce peruse can feel a little like sifting through a bargain bin of castoffs. You’ve already seen, liked and regrammed most of notable styles and what remains are the duds.
True, the internet, social media and even FN are partly to blame for all the shoe-exposure, but it’s easy to be fatigued with the spring ’15 footwear leftovers even though summer is only half-way through. And there is just nothing like spanking new shoes, is there?
With that in mind, we put together an edit of the freshest shoes for fall to shop – and here’s the hitch – wear now too. From spectators to suede booties and cutout stilettos, a trend with legs.
After all, most designers do approach the seasons with a less-literal approach these days (open toes in winter, boots year-round) making many of the styles currently available from the fall ’15 collections perfectly suitable for wearing now. Especially considering that for many, August is actually the chilliest month of the year, with office air conditioning dipping keeping many of us shivering in our swivel seats.
