Uri Minkoff presented his latest men’s collection Tuesday as a part of New York Fashion Week: Men’s. The presentation included several easy mix-and-match separates to dress up or down. The footwear offered styles that were flexible, including metallic sandals worn with socks and slip-on sneakers in a galactic blue metallics and silver.
Minkoff told FN he found his spring ’17 inspiration in a combination of places.
The designer said because of his focus to spend time with family and friends, he wanted his collection of dress and casual styles to be ones that wearers would embrace as they created memories in the shoes. For the season, Minkoff moved his footwear production to Italy, where he found more inspiration: A recent trip to Lake Como sparked some of the colors in the collection, especially the shades of blue.
